are a small Maine Coon cattery breeding the big American Forest-Cats in the beautyful city of Bremen.

We are committed to the health and well-being of our cats, because first of all they are loved pets and fellows, before they are breeding cats.

We are outcross orientated; we partly are breeding with new foundation-lines, partly with showlines and we take care of wide matings.

Our breeding cats are tested on hereditary diseases (HCM, PKD, HD, PL) on a regular basis. You find the results of the tests in the presentation of the particular cat.

What´s about the name "Lucina"?

A Goddess of light, moon and childbirth had been the inspiration for our Cattery name.
May she always take care of our mother cats and kittens !

Goddess of childbirth, who ease the pain and makes sure all went well.
She opens the eyes of newborn beings and so gives them enlightenment.
The name literally means "the one that reveals".
Lucina ist also the Goddess of Light.
She brings children into the light and light to the world.
